Sulfates strip away the natural oils from your hair and scalp; thus leaving your head open to dryness, flakiness, and/or itchiness. If your hair ever feels greasy right after you wash it, sulfates may be to blame! Using shampoos without sulfates will prevent this problem by helping hair retain its natural oils and maintain a smooth finish.

What if my hair is colored?

Sulfates can cause your color to fade. They do this by penetrating the hair’s cuticle, which strips natural oils and dries out your hair. When your hair is dry, your color lacks vibrancy. You may be thinking that stripping your hair of oil can be a good thing, but you actually need some of that oil to keep your hair nice and hydrated.

Directions:

Apply 1-2 pumps to wet hair, or more as needed. Massage through and rinse thoroughly. Second application will lather more than first, so repeat if desired.
